Over the past three years, the number of apps available to Chinese smartphone users has fallen by 38.5%. The sharpest drop occurred this year amid China’s crackdowns on Big Tech platforms & Internet Content, according to a report in the South China Morning Post. It shows how China’s fortified market structure has hurt its digital sector.
