Users will be able to create, manage, and organize many files in a single Notepad window thanks to Microsoft’s support for multiple tabs. By moving a tab into its own window, users can continue working with files in numerous windows.
The software behemoth claims that this new upgrade will enable multiple tabs, enabling users to create, manage, & organize several files within a single Notepad window.
A new app feature will allow you to customise whether files open in new tabs or new windows by default. Users can even continue working with files across multiple windows by dragging a tab out to its own window.
Along with various improvements to managing unsaved files, like automatically generating the file name/tab title based on Content & a refreshed unsaved changes indicator, users will also receive new keyboard shortcut keys to enable managing tabs with the update.
