This report by the Verge says Microsoft has now decided against removing Paint, contrary to its earlier warnings.
Microsoft had said Paint would be removed, but then the warnings had vanished in the latest May 2019 Update (1903).
The Verge report quoted says Brandon LeBlanc, a senior program manager for Windows at Microsoft, as saying, “Yes, MSPaint will be included in 1903,” “It’ll remain included in Windows 10 for now.”
