Microsoft has decided to close its Azure Blockchain Service from September 10, 2021. Existing deployments will be supported until that date, but as of May 10 this year, no new deployments or member creation will be supported.
Blockchain technology started off for cryptocurrency Bitcoin but vendors found other uses for it like storing the complete transaction history of financial records like in banking, etc.
