Meta has introduced “Family Center”, a place for parents & guardians to access supervision tools & resources from leading experts. Supervision tools are available on Instagram today, & will begin rolling out in VR in May.
Meta said in its official communique that this was “the first step in a longer term journey to develop intuitive supervision tools, informed by experts, teens & parents.” Family Center will help parents to oversee their teens’ accounts within Meta technologies, set up & use supervision tools, & access resources on how to communicate with their teens about Internet use.
