Microsoft has said that the Microsoft Entra Verified ID credential can now be used by millions of LinkedIn members to verify their workplace, following an announcement by LinkedIn of member verification in Oct 2022.
This feature enables members & organizations to easily verify authenticity by searching for the verification, & ensures that the work affiliations mentioned in their profiles are accurate, providing greater confidence while collaborating.
The verification program will start in the US 1st, in partnership with CLEAR, announced LinkedIn.
We’re partnering with CLEAR, a secure identity platform, to provide verification for our LinkedIn members in the US. Beginning this month, you can display on your profile that you verified your identity with CLEAR. All you need is a U.S. government-issued ID and U.S. phone number.
