Are you a freelancer? Keep your clients’ projects organized with ‘ClientPortal’ – #Startup

client dashboard

‘ClientPortal’ is a platform for freelancers & agencies that helps in giving clients “a professional & organized experience.” This portal integrates with WordPress (WP) to help you manage projects more easily, getting rid of bulky project management software.

This platform gives your clients access to your Website allowing them to keep track of the project as well as the project files. With ‘ClientPortal’, it’s easy for you to keep up to date with the project & find everything without tiresome searches.

How ClientPortal Works

ClientPortal  allows you to add or remove modules as you like. This will help you avoid the multiple emails & IMs from clients requesting you to resend your designs. Therefore, you can have deliverables that work for your projects depending on whether you are a writer, designer or developer.

To work on this project management platform, it requires you to 1st create a portal whenever you get a new project. The developers have made this easy for you in a way that you will not need any coding or programming knowledge. To create 1, you just fill in the project details such as the deliverables, & deadline.

After creating the portal, you can share the portal’s link with your client as well as the login information. With this, the client can keep referring to the project. ClientPortal has preset modules & parts. For instance, in 1 module you can fill in a questionnaire about your business as well as an inspiration a Pinterest board where you can add all your design likes. With a 20 sec “gut test”, the portal allows your client to rate the progress of the project.

In addition, ClientPortal allows you to set these modules up & mark them as: ‘In Progress’, ‘Completed’ or ‘Inactive’. You can then link the changes to the portal for your client to see. Another integrated feature is the free 5 lesson email course that the platform offers. This teaches you how to come up with a process to organize your clients’ projects. According to its developer, ClientPortal is planning to add more such integration, including Dropbox & Google Drive to the platform.

ClientPortal is Web-based & is developed by Laura Elizabeth who is a UI/UX designer at Laurium Design. It’s headquartered in Hinckley, UK.
