Honestbot.app gives Slack teams the opportunity to list their grievances anonymously – Startups

Managing a team of workers effectively, especially if the team works remotely, is a challenge. These days there are a plethora of tools to assist managers, employees & businesses to achieve smooth remote working arrangements such as Slack or MS Teams. However, the health of an organization is often dependent on the mindset of the staff. The thing is, though, that many employees are circumspect about voicing their opinions or complaining.

In order to offer businesses a tool that solves the issue, Honestbot has launched a bot for Slack that gives employees the opportunity to be heard. The idea is that the bot is 100% anonymous – employees can use the bot to make suggestions, rant & complain, or simply ask questions, all from the safely of anonymity.

Honestbot.app is a very useful mechanism for managers allowing them to gauge the mood of teams under their guidance & discover useful feedback that might otherwise never rise to the surface. For instance, employees are highly unlikely to raise criticism, personally directed against a manager, if they suspect reprisal, but if they can give this, often useful, critic without the manager knowing who has delivered it, everything works out well. Honestbot could be a game changer that saves company employees’ hours of stressful contemplation & allows the business to operate at maximum efficiency.

It’s a simple process to add the bot to Slack, since it’s a matter of signing in to the Slack Workspace & adding Honestbot with a single click. Once installed, employees can use the textbox & submit button on the bot’s interface to quickly air their views with confidence, while managers can rest assured that they are receiving honest feedback that could be truly vital. The bot can be configured to address a specific group or individual, such as sending a message to the IT, HR or Security department or they can simply address all departments at once.
