In a unique experiment, Google tested over 1000 of the ‘most visited’ Sites across sectors like retail & travel to understand how they worked on mobile.
The new resource ‘Masterful Mobile Web’, said Google, assesses the mobile experiences of most visited sites on the Web. In the test, the most visited Sites were assessed in more than 60 different usability areas, & shows whether or not they passed muster in each of those categories. Other parameters included geography & speed.
We used local user experience specialists to test the usability areas. To measure speed, the sites were tested remotely using a speed measurement tool. – Google
