Google has launched what is being touted as the 1st ever pop-up store that offers Online game developers the opportunity to increase the exposure of their mobile games.
According to this report in TaiPei Times, Google launched Google Play Town in Taiwan.
The report quoted Google Asia Pacific head of marketing Simon Kahn as saying that this was the 1st time Google had ever done it. Taiwan was selected as the 1st venue since it was “such an important gaming market to Google.” Taiwan has 1 of the world’s highest smartphone penetration.
