Google Cloud launches virtual machines called “Confidential VMs” – Cloud computing


A host of announcements were made at Google’s virtual “Cloud Next ’20” event, including the launch of “Confidential VMs”, a form of virtual machine that makes use of the company’s work around confidential computing to ensure that data isn’t just encrypted at rest but also while it is in memory.

Google Cloud unveils new features to enhance security and compliance for sensitive data – Tech Republic

Google Cloud is introducing two new capabilities aimed at organizations struggling to ensure the security and regulatory compliance of data stored in the cloud.
