Google has acquired Divshot, an HTML5 Web-hosting platform. It will be joining the Firebase team, that Google acquired last year in October. Parts of Divshot’s technology will be brought to Firebase Hosting. The latter is Firebase’s static Web hosting service which is now powered in part by Divshot technology.
