Ever sent an email to the wrong person? Or regretted sending 1? Now, users of Gmail need not suffer from any of this. Almost 6 years after experimenting with it, Google has announced that it has installed a ‘Undo Send’ tab as a mainstream setting in Gmail. Which means, it will give Gmail users upto 30 seconds to recall a message that has been ‘sent’.
How does it work? Gmail simply delays the delivery of emails by up to 30 seconds to give users a chance to change their minds.
To switch on Undo Send, click on Gmail’s Settings, select Settings, & you’ll find it under the General tab. You can choose a duration between 5 & 30 seconds to recall the message.
