Glassdoor Unveils Anonymous Community Features, Taking Inspiration from Blind, to Drive User Growth – News

Glassdoor, renowned for its platform that enables anonymous salary and workplace reviews, is embracing Blind-like community attributes to encourage user growth through anonymous posting. Leveraging its acquisition of Fishbowl in 2021, the company is incorporating features such as interest bowls (interest-based communities) and company bowls while simultaneously refreshing its branding.

A report in TechCrunch said with a steadfast active user base of 55 million for nearly two years, Glassdoor was taking this strategic step to enhance engagement. Through the introduction of communities, users can now participate in anonymous discussions centered around their interests, roles, and industry verticals. While posting, users have the option to reveal certain aspects of their identity, such as their job title and organization. After conducting trials with a select group of users over the past month, Glassdoor is now launching this feature to all its users across both web and mobile apps.
