Firefox, Edge & Chrome “100” versions may break some Sites – News

Google’s Chrome browser, Mozilla’s Firefox browser, & Microsoft’s Edge browser will all reach version 100 within the next few weeks. It may sound exciting, but these milestone releases can also cause havoc on the internet. Some Websites might break when they try to parse user-agent strings containing a three-digit version number, as developers for all three browsers warn. Therefore, all three companies are working to mitigate the impact before version 100 is released later this year.
