…and now, this. Facebook has admitted to have harvested the email contacts of 1.5 million users without their knowledge or consent when they opened their accounts.
According to an exclusive by Business Insider, since May 2016, the social networking company had collected the contact lists of these users new to the social network. A statement by the Internet company said they were “unintentionally uploaded to Facebook,” & it was now deleting them.
