News does not seem something that Facebook members are interested in. The recently released Widely Viewed Content report suggests that Facebook needs publishers a lot more than they need it.

Its first Widely Viewed Content Reportsuggests publishers need Facebook a lot more than it needs them. News publishers are well represented among the top 20 website domains classified as “widely viewed.” However, their content makes up 0.of what Facebook users see in their personalized news feeds.
