It was last April that social network Facebook had launched the Data Abuse Bounty program to help identify potential violations of its policies, & to reward people who reported misuse of Facebook data by app developers.
Today, FB announced, among other measures, an expansion of the program to Instagram.
Our goal is to help protect the information people share on Instagram and encourage security researchers to report potential abuse to us so we can quickly take action. Just like our bug bounty program, we will reward reports based on impact and quality.
