Android M – new OS to follow Lollipop
Google+ to don new avtar
Google Photos: According to an official Google blog post, will help users organize & “bring their precious moments to life”. Google Photos gives users a single, private place to keep a lifetime of memories, & access them from any device. They’re automatically backed up & synced, so users “can have peace of mind” that their photos are safe, available across all devices.
What’s more, with Google Photos, users can now backup & store unlimited, high-quality photos & videos. For free.
Google+: Google top honcho Bradley Horowitz said in a special briefing with reporters during Google’s annual developer conference on Thursday that this near-flop social media platform from Google would be getting a new form.
“Google+ will be changing,” he announced during an event at Google I/O.
Android M: Google unveiled that Android M (some claim M stands for Milkshake) will succeed Android Lollipop later this year. Google said Android M, which was debuting as a pre-release version today, wil have a host of new features & performance enhancements. Yet, simultaneously, Google’s Sundar Pichai said the company had decided to “go back to the basics” & improve quality of the platform.
Where Android 5.0 Lollipop introduced a new design & interface, M appeared to aim for improving the stability & usability of the software.
