A new survey by e-Marketer has shown that by 2021, 42.2% of US Internet population, & 36.6% of the entire country’s population will be using digital voice assistants.
The survey estimates that 111.8 million people in the US will use a voice assistant at least monthly this year, up 9.5% from 102.0 million 2018.
Today, most people use their voice assistants on smartphones & smart speakers, with the former winning by a wide margin, which, e-Marketer said, was not uncommon, given the sheer numbers of smartphones in the market.
