There are reports now Online that claim that if you have a Gmail account, any purchase that generated an email receipt was being tracked by Google.
We’ve not authenticated the veracity of these reports but two of ’em, in CNBC & Inc.com say that. They have even provided a link where what Google has tracked about your purchases is available. Here it is myaccount.google.com/purchases.
The report by Inc.com says: There’s some bad news for people who find this tracking of their buying concerning and see it as encroaching on their privacy. You can delete items from your purchase history, but only by deleting the email that contains your receipt. If you’re saving that email just in case you needed to return the item, you can’t delete it from your Purchases page.
