VxCam, an app in the iTunes App Store, developed by Swapan Sundoja caters for users wanting to create video stories for social media such as Instagram, or messaging services, like WhatsApp. As described by the maker, it’s “a unique & innovative application” capable of creating augmented reality (AR) objects, which ‘float’ within a real environment & allow for interactive experiences, enabling the user to share their augmented space with friends or family, in a ‘story-construction’ like manner.

The app provides tools to draw ‘lifelike’ 3D objects in any space, throw-up 3D emojis, photos, cute stickers or videos, these hologram type objects, can be captured on video while the maker interacts in the environment – walks around, talking & creating a story around the objects.
