Conduct polls & surveys with ‘Emoji Poll’

online poll‘Emoji Poll’ is simple polling app for iMessage that uses….emojis! It could come in handy when you want to conduct a survey on a particular subject. The app allows you to create a poll using emoji or text. In addition, Emoji Poll enables you to send the poll just as easy as you would send a text message.

To create a poll, you just enter the text for the options. Its developers have tried to streamline the flow of the app to increase its efficiency & speed to create, send, & vote on a poll. For example, if you type ‘Pizza’ the app will auto-pick the pizza emoji. Also, if you add the location of a nearby place, Emoji Poll will auto-pick the text, URL & emoji. In case the option you’ve selected doesn’t have a close emoji match you can manually select an emoji to go with the text.

After creating a poll, you can add a location or Website to each option in your poll. Emoji Poll also gives you the option of setting up a ‘secret poll’ that will allow the participants to vote anonymously. You can then use iMessage to send the poll to your friends.

To cast your vote if you receive a survey, you just have to tap the Emoji Poll iMessage. The app will also let you keep track of who voted for each option in real-time. It allows you to attach location data & website links to options, hence, enabling your participants to make informed choices.

Unfortunately for Android users, Emoji Poll is only available for iPhone, iPad & iPod touch. It requires your device to run on iOS 10.0 or later for it to be compatible. It is free to download from App Store as well as from iMessage App Store.

The app is made by Adam Putinski, a Lead Engineer at Salesforce UX & Cameron Reynolds-Flatt who is a co-founder of Moment. It is located in Belleair Beach, Florida.
