Looks like all the major Internet cos are chasing gamers now. 1st it was Microsoft launching its Game Stack yesterday, now social network Facebook has added a dedicated Gaming tab to the navigation bar in its app. By doing so, it’s not only taking on Twitch but also hoping to help you find games & streamers to watch, whether you want to play something new with your friends or catch up on the last esports match.
FB will carry on its tests on mobile with a rebranded Facebook Gaming app on Android, which will have more features that the Gaming tab. It will unveil the Gaming tab to a subset of the more than 700 million Facebook game fans.
For now, those who can’t yet see the new tab, you find it by going to the Bookmarks menu on Facebook.
