Amazon Web Services (AWS) has acquired Wickr, a company that deals with end-to-end encrypted, communication technology.
It said on its official blog that with Wickr, AWS customers & partners would benefit from “advanced security features not available with traditional communications services”. These will be across messaging, voice & video calling, file sharing, & collaboration. This will give security conscious enterprises & government agencies the ability to implement important governance & security controls to help them meet their compliance requirements, said AWS.
