Apple intends to release racially diverse emojis in new OS X & iOS

A few days ago, this Website had reported on Apple having released the 1st build of the OS X 10.10.3 for developers as well as the iOS 8.3, even before the iOS 2 had entered the market. Today, it rolled out an updated build for testers through the Mac App Store for both.
There are a few notables in the 2nd pre-build version of OS X 10.10.3. It comes with a newer build of the bundled Photos app. But what has sent the Web abuzz is Apple hinting at adding a racially diverse set of Emoji characters. Users can pick from various skin tones as well as different characters. According to the emojipedia.org blog, “…the pre-release version of OS X 10.10.3 and iOS 8.3 bring a glimpse of future emoji changes by Apple, with new emoji categorization, 27 new country flags, updates to old artwork, and support for racially diverse emojis.”
Screenshots provided by emojipedia.org show emoji faces & gestures in many different skin complexions. There’s even a watch emoji, it is actually the Apple Watch.
Apple has cautioned that some user interface elements & animations may not display correctly in the latest release, while dragging/dropping photos & videos from Photos to Mail may not work.
OS X 10.10.3 is available to registered developers through the Apple Developer Center or as an update through the Mac App Store, along with the new beta of iOS 8.3.
