Android phones can be unlocked using 3D printed head – News

New research has shown that smartphones, specifically Android ones, equipped with state-of-the-art facial recognition technology can be accessed with relative ease using a 3D-printed model head of the owner.
An investigation showed that Android phones were the least secure, with four popular models capable of being unlocked using the technique, potentially allowing hackers to access personal details, payments systems and sensitive information.
