Amazon has launched “Inspire”, a short-form video & photo feed that lets users “discover & buy products from Content created by influencers, brands & other customers.”

Amazon said for now, Inspire was only available in the Amazon Shopping mobile app, & will roll out gradually to US customers this December.

To use Amazon’s new feed, users need to open their Amazon Shopping app & tap the lightbulb icon in the navigation bar. If you don’t see the lightbulb icon, then you still have to wait for access. For those who have access, on tapping the lightbulb tab, Amazon will ask users to choose up to 20 interests, like interior design & gaming. Once interest s have been selected, users can start scrolling.

Inspire is not available on desktop, yet, only by iOS or Android app.

In Amazon’s new feed, the photos & videos in your customizable feed will display links for products in the bottom-right corner of the post. To throw up recommendations, Amazon said it takes into account many preferences that are unique to each user so no two feeds are the same. For example, the interests you choose when first opening Inspire & the Content that you like in the feed.
