It is an original idea, if not anything. For now only available to US iOS users, but even then. Amazon has announced viewers can send scenes from their favorite Amazon Original series — straight from their phones. We would like to call it Amazon share a clip.
This is being made possible because of X-Ray technology. So what it means is that Prime Video customers can share their favorite clips from select Amazon Original series with friends & family on social media, or via direct message. Then it could be the 1st scene in Season One of The Boys, to the 1st time Toni and Shelby meet in The Wilds, & so on.
Eligible viewers will see a “Share A Clip” button on their iOS mobile device. If they hit that, the series will stop & another screen will open where the viewer can edit the clip & share it. Now, how cool is that?
