Amazon’s new offering to brands – Brand Voice – Marketing


Amazon has launched a feature in Amazon Polly called Brand Voice, a capability in which brands can work with the Amazon Polly team of AI research scientists & linguists to build an exclusive, high-quality, Neural Text-to-Speech (NTTS) voice that represents a brand’s persona.

Brand Voice allows companies to differentiate between brands by incorporating a “unique vocal identity” into products & services. Amazon Polly has been working with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Canada & National Australia Bank (NAB) to create 2 unique Brand Voices, using the same deep learning technology that powers the voice of Alexa.

The voice of Amazon’s Alexa is changing. A new feature called Brand Voice can be used to create a unique voice that represents a brand’s persona. The customized voice feature can be created with the Amazon Polly team of artificial intelligence research scientists and linguistics. Amazon Polly is a cloud service of Amazon Web Services that converts text to lifelike speech.
