Adobe Photoshop gets new features – News

Adobe has released a new version of Photoshop for iOS & the desktop with 5 new artificial intelligence (AI) based features. These include Neural Filters, Sky Replacement, the Discover panel, & 2 new Refine Edge Selections improvements all built on AI, said Adobe.

Neural Filters is part of a new machine learning platform, which, said Adobe, will evolve “& get better over time”. Neural Filters is a new workspace inside Photoshop that introduces new non-destructive filters to “help you explore creative ideas in seconds.”

Adobe has taken many of the existing features of Photoshop & improved them by reducing complex workflows to 1 click or a couple of sliders using machine learning. SO, for example users can discover a rapidly growing & improving library of artistic & restorative filters, find a “best” idea for inspiration, & refine images with the familiar tools you know in Photoshop. The filters in this workspace will speed parts of the workflow, but they might not produce the result you need every time. Then, you can try more creative ideas than ever in the time you booked for your project, & you have all the power of Photoshop when you take your Neural Filters result back to the canvas for final touches.
