Profile verification has come to SoundCloud. It is rolling out profile verification. Official blue checkmarks will now show up in search & on profiles of verified creators, announced SoundCloud from its official blog.
Earlier, SoundCloud would issue orange Pro star badges, which was mistaken for a verification badge. It is now “live” exclusively on the profiles of its Pro subscribers. SoundCloud had initially created these star badges for Pro subscribers to let listeners, fellow creators & industry contacts know they’re taking their craft to the next level. With the introduction of the blue checkmarks, all confusion around orange star badges will be eliminated, said SoundCloud.
