With this new extension for the popular Chrome Web browser you can add sticky notes to any Web page that you open & then they will reappear if you open the page again, even if it’s on a different machine.
The extension, which was recently made available on the Chrome Web Store, was created by Belville, North Carolina, USA-based developer & machine learning devotee, Fabrizio Parrella. He says in a Chrome Web Store statement, that:
I started this project because I was looking for a way to add sticky notes while I was creating a webpage for a customer & I wanted to create a note that I could read from my computer at home as well as from my computer at the office.
Some of the more interesting features of OurStickys are:
- The look of the notes can be personalized to change their size, position, font-size & color
- Notes can be minimized
- Notes are synced between browsers using the same account
- Notes auto-load on the page
- If you click on the extension’s main icon you can view all the notes that you’ve created
- You can assign a note for a particular page URL of to a full domain
- It’s possible to login with Google or Facebook
A number of features are also in the works for upcoming releases, like the ability to share notes, to fix a note on a page so that it’ll ignore scrolling, import & export notes, HTML support, autoresize to fit text & the archiving of notes.
The currently available version of OurStickys is 0.0.12 & it can be installed for free from the Chrome Web Store here.
