Google introduces more features in Chromebook to mark Chrome OS’ 10 birthday – News


Google has announced more features to Chromebook based on user feedback, & to mark the 10th birthday of Chrome OS.

Included is the new Screen Capture tool in the ‘Quick Settings’ menu that lets users take precise screenshots & screen recordings without needing to remember keyboard shortcuts. Once a screen capture is taken, it’ll instantly show up in Tote, a new space that keeps important files right at your fingertips.

The media controls are also now built directly into the Quick Settings menu, so users will always know where to go to play, pause or skip to the next song that they are playing from the Web or an Android app. Users can pin this media player directly to their Shelf for immediate access.
