Copilot, GitHub’s AI-assisted coding tool, will be upgraded thanks to OpenAI’s GPT-4, the firm said on Wednesday.
Developers will get access to voice & chat features via GitHub Copilot X. For in-line advice & answers on projects, the tool can interface with pull requests, the command line, & documentation.
GitHub said in its announcement that in less than 2 years since its launch, GitHub Copilot was already writing 46% of code & helping developers code up to 55% faster.
