The Facebook-owned messaging service WhatsApp, which doesn’t yet have a business model, has now crossed 900 million MAUs, as CEO, co-founder & Facebook board member Jan Koum announced on Facebook. The app had reached 800 million actives back in April this year. Prior to that, it went from 700 million to 800 million in 3 months, & 600 million to 700 million in under 3 months.
