Spartan browser released for 1st time by Microsoft for testing

IT major Microsoft has pulled the covers off its Spartan browser, & made it available for Online testing. Microsoft has made available its 1st Windows 10 Desktop test build that includes its new ‘Project Spartan’ browser. This is the 2nd preview of the desktop build Microsoft has made available to testers in March, & the 1st of the Spartan.
The Online world seems agog, talking of the 1st release of the Spartan browser for testers. Now, the Internet world at least gets an official look of Project Spartan & what’s expected of it. The latter is the replacement to old war horse, the Internet Explorer.
Microsoft had previously announced that Windows 10 OS would have a summer release this year.
Microsoft Windows said in a post on its official blog that a lot of excitement had been generated after it had announced details of ‘Project Spartan’ on January 21 this year.
Today, we’re excited to announce that Project Spartan is available for the first time for Windows Insiders to try out as part of the latest Windows 10 Technical Preview build for PCs. You can read more about the new Windows 10 Technical Preview build here, or check it out by joining the Windows Insider Program.
The 1st “build” of Spartan has:
Cortana, a personal assistant that helps make Web browsing easier for users, with whatever they are trying to get done. Cortana offers help at just the right moment, based on what she knows about the Web, about the user & and what he/she might be trying to do. She remains in the background but provides additional information when you need it, making browsing easier & more efficient. Cortana in Spartan will be available in the US versions of this build, and available more broadly later.
Inking and sharing so users can capture & communicate their thoughts. Everyone uses the Web routinely to share questions, thoughts, info & comments with friends and colleagues. With the inking capabilities, Project Spartan will enable users to write or type directly on the page, comment on what’s interesting or clip what you want – then easily share this “Web Note” via mail, or a social network. This will be a great boon to those who research or collect information from the Web.
Distraction-free reading with ‘Reading List’ & ‘Reading View’ features. Project Spartan will introduce a ‘Reading List’ to collect everything users may want to read, including the ability to save any Web page or PDF for access later, & an integrated, distraction-free ‘Reading View’ that keeps readers focused on the content.
