Matchmaking of a different kind – ‘Kaero’ allows you to hook up for business – New App

online networking

This free mobile app aims to “disrupt the way people network & discover new professional opportunities” by using a powerful AI recommendation algorithm.

The app, which is currently available for Android smartphones, makes use of a UI reminiscent of the popular Tinder hookup app, to promote “mutually-beneficial matchmaking” for business collaboration.

To use Kaero you swipe through profiles which its AI algorithm recommends to you. Then you meet up with others who also want to meet you using the built-in video call capability. You then build upon your new connections to help promote each others professional & business goals.

The advantages of easily being able to connect via video calls are that it serves to quickly & naturally break the ice in the 1st meeting itself.  Also, geographical boundaries are completely erased. People from around the globe can network, collaborate & exchange ideas with the resulting mutual widening of professional horizons.

Kaero’s AI-powered machine learning algorithm does the heavy lifting by shortlisting potential matches for you, while the fact that the matchmaking is double opt-in means you only meet users who also want to meet you.

The machine learning gets anonymous feedback collected after each meeting & community-based endorsements reinforce the credibility of your connections’ skills & personality traits.

The app’s profile structure helps you make the right connections by focusing on your personality, objectives & skills. As mentioned on the product Site, “What matters is what you’re good at, what your vision is, and where you’re headed next.”

Kaero Labs Ltd is the England-based startup behind the app, which was founded by Borja Rivier & Marcin Olechowski.
