Google recently decided to combine all its different payment tools under the Google Pay brand. On Android, however, the Android Pay app had continued under its existing brand. That’s changed from today. Google has finally launched ‘Google Pay for Android’.
An update is being rolled out to Android Pay along with some new functionality that the company hopes will make its payment service ubiquitous — both in stores & on the internet.
In addition, Google is also launching a redesign of the Google Wallet app for sending & requesting money, & it’s now called Google Pay Send.
