Google launches app to teach you marketing skills

googleprimer

For all you Online marketers, search engine Google has launched a pilot project that could be of use to you. Called Primer, this is a smartphone app that gives you lessons in “innovative marketing”.

According to the legend on the Website of Primer, this is what Google has to say: At our best, we help businesses of all sizes try new things and get more customers. But we also know it’s hard to get the knowledge you need to do innovative marketing. So we assembled a small team of our own marketers and challenged them to build a product they would use. The result is Primer.

The app is free & is available on Android & iOS.

Primer is for anyone looking to learn more about marketing — from startup founders to small business owners to brand managers at Fortune 500 companies.  Lessons on topics like branding, storytelling, remarketing, SEO, & programmatic ad buying are provided.

So who exactly creates the lessons in Primer?

1st, Google looks for the best explainers. Then, its creative team works with these experts to “Primerize” their knowledge, putting it into the Primer voice & thinking up interactions that enhance the learning experience.

So, if you, too, wanna provide lessons in marketing you may write in to: hello@yourprimer.com.
