BizChat is a business to consumer (B2C) mobile messaging app that allows users to search for businesses by keyword & then directly message them.
The concept isn’t exactly new, but it is still a useful variation of your standard messaging app. The way BizChat works is by adding the messaging function to standard map search functionality. You may start by typing in your search query & location into the app. It will give you a list of matching businesses, along with a map view. That’s pretty much how Google Maps or any other map-based tool works.
You can further click on a business out of the list or map, & a business profile will appear. You will find the address, hours of operation, bizChat user reviews, & photos. The key difference from the standard maps functionality is that you can then directly send a text message to the business. You can send a simple SMS or even an MMS with a picture if you want. This can be very helpful if you want to show the business something & ask a question about it.
Another special feature is the live status update, which brings you information & updates on availability, special promotions & other important business alerts.
You can also create a favorites list of businesses you often contact, so that you don’t have to search for it every time you use the app. Businesses can likewise start using the app very easily simply by signing up & logging in as a business. That leaves you available to answer customer queries instantly any time you get a notification.
BizChat App was developed by NYC-based BizChat App LLC. The company was founded in 2014 by Mike Peña, Dave Nanidzhanyan & Moe Manasra. The Android version is not available as yet.
