‘WhatsAdd’ offers preset texts, auto emojis to fire up WhatsApp messaging – #Startup

David Maillio, a Web designer & full stack developer from Barcelona, has made an extension for WhatsApp on the Web. Apart from aiding people who frequently make or coordinate plans on WhatsApp, these add-on features should also come as a big help to those who do not have the messaging service available on their app store, such as anyone using iOS devices like iPad or Mac.

Appropriately called WhatsAdd, the Chrome browser extension does not replace WhatsApp in anyway, it only extends its functionality by adding the following features:

WhatsAdd promises many more add-ons in the near future, as it states it has only just begun. Also, the startup is appealing to businesses to communicate with them & specify their requirements so that they can add features based on demand.

WhatsAdd works within WhatsApp for the Web, it’s available from Google’s Chrome Web Store. Once installed, it adds functionality to the parent app by way of additional menus & function specific buttons.

Currently, WhatsApp boasts 1.5 billion users & has 60 billion messages sent daily. WhatsAdd, would then, probably gain traction with the help of this extension, since any tool that makes a very popular app more functional may see user figures rising gradually.
