Update: Succumbing to mounting pressure from users, Twitter on Nov 27, 2019, said it had put on hold its plan to delete inactive Twitter accounts. It said it was doing so as the move could affect the accounts of deceased users. Twitter, however, did not give a new timeline for the plan to delete inactive accounts.
Earlier: If you are one of those who has not operated your Twitter account in the last 6 months, be warned. Twitter is about to remove the likes of you, unless you log into the account by Dec 11, 2019.
