Toronto, Canada’s Ryerson University continues to bet big on startups in fast-growing emerging markets, especially those in India. The Univ has decided to expand its current partnership with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), doubling the size of a joint business incubator program in India’s commercial capital Mumbai. Ryerson & the BSE are reportedly jointly launching a dedicated India investment fund worth US $15 million for giving seed capital to Indian startups. Besides India, Ryerson is also doing the same in South Africa, where it has signed a deal with Wits University.
