Microsoft has announced there would be a different brand of browser in the forthcoming edition of Windows 10. Which essentially means, Microsoft has decided to “kill” its Internet Explorer brand.
This was not totally unexpected, for there were enough indications earlier. The new browser currently is named “Project Spartan”. Windows 10 is expected to be released a few months down the line. The old war horse IE continues to hold major market share where browsers are concerned, controlling about 55%.
