Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has launched an Android app that leverages AI tools such as image recognition & optical character recognition to translate popular children’s books into sign language. The app has been developed in a collaboration between Huawei, the nonprofit European Union for the Deaf, Penguin, & animation gurus Aardman.
