Google’s Core Web Vitals: What are they? – e-Why, What & How

A few days ago, Google, in a rare move, let it be known to the World Wide Web that it would be considering 3 user metrics (core web vitals) to rank websites, starting sometime next year.

The 3 are: Loading, Interactivity & Visual Stability. So what are they & how should Website owners be reacting/readying themselves for this coming change?

This “How To” piece by Andrei Prakharevich of SEO PowerSuite explains the new rules of ranking very succinctly. He says Google’s move was “also a step towards increased transparency between Google & Site owners”. Now that Google was on the way to collecting reliable UX metrics, perhaps there will be more ranking opportunities for those who are willing to go the extra mile, he adds.
