Facebook has made further inroads into your phone. The social network has launched a phone dialler, caller ID provider, search engine & call blocker for Android called Hello. A Facebook Creative Labs project, Hello connects with Facebook so you can see who’s calling, block unwanted calls & even search for people or places.
According to a post on FB Newsroom, when you get a call, Hello will show you info about who’s calling you, even if you don’t have that number saved in your phone. • Easily block unwanted calls.
• Automatically block calls from numbers that have been blocked by a lot of other people.
• Search your phone contacts & people and places on Facebook, without switching between apps.
• Always have the latest info about your contacts, including their profile pictures & birthdays.
• Open a Facebook profile or Page with just 1 tap.
