‘Yotilo’ is an open source time tracker in your browser – #Startup

Online time tracker

‘Yotilo’ is an open source time tracker, which means you can track to the last second all your tasks. To use this desktop app, you will not require any sign-up.

This new app involves a 5 part process: There’s a drop down which allows to select projects & tasks specific to time entries. The design process incorporates a stopwatch to record the working time. Also, it allows a simple calculation of the number of hours for each day as well as the entire period. This has been done purposefully because this is a time tracking application.

In addition to the drop down selection options, Yotilo provides a graph which shows the user the total number of hours that 1 has worked for a particular project. The graph appears above the total hours worked in a given period. A Yotilo-multi-select element allows the user to have access to 2 headers – 1 for tasks & the other one for projects. On clicking the Yotilo-multi-select, a list of all the projects one worked on is displayed. This adds to the elements that help you to get a summary of all the filtered entries.

Yotilo also has a ‘Comment’ section. This is provided for each time entry. It’s an important feature because many users would like to put in words what they observe. The comments can also act as an overview of how the time log looks. In addition to the comment’s section, you as a user can pick on a specific date & the date timeline on you log will change. The date picker view will change, & so is the propagation of the dates to the day’s list.

The design of Yotilo is such that, as a user gets on to the Site, they are greeted with a nice visual overlay which briefly describes what Yotilo is all about. With Yotilo, you can do quite a number of things. This includes deleting projects & tasks. Initially, there was an option to only archive assets.

Yotilo was made by Benjamin Kowalski & was launched on September 27, 2016. It is located in California, USA.
