Twitch is all set to launch Subscriber Streams. It said on its official blog this would be a “new way for streamers to offer another benefit to some of their biggest supporters — subscribers, VIPs, & Mods.”
If a viewer subscribes to a channel at any tier, including a Twitch Prime subscription, they’ll have access to that creator’s Subscriber Streams. If they’re not a subscriber & they arrive on a channel that’s running a Subscriber Stream, they’ll see a preview of what’s going on &, if they’d like, they’ll be able to join the party immediately by subscribing.
What are the requirements?
The requirements to broadcast a Subscriber Stream are:
- The streamer must be a Twitch Affiliate or Twitch Partner.
- The streamer must have broadcasted at least 90 unique days as Affiliate or Partner
- The streamer must not have violated the Twitch Community Guidelines in their last 90 unique broadcast days. This means that if their channel received a suspension, they would need to broadcast on 90 different days without another violation to be eligible again.
